Tax reform calculations for individuals

Excerpt of one template.
One way to understand various tax reform proposals is to determine the direct financial effect on you. I have created some templates for a few different proposals. The templates are intended to easily enable taxpayers and practitioners to determine how their 2011 tax liability would have differed with the proposal.  The templates are in two AICPA Tax Insider articles - see links at Tax Reform Calculations: Helping Clients See Directly Financial Results, 5/10/12.

Cautions and caveats must be considered, such as whether the proposal might cause employers to stop offering benefits, leading to new costs for employees. Or there might be new costs for state governments (resulting in tax increases).

What do you think?
